Forest School is such an important part of our learning here at Stepping Stones. The children attend sessions at Edale Island every fortnight, where they have lots of fun climbing trees, splashing in the river, cooking on the campfire, observing wildlife and creating beautiful nature art. 

One of our staff members, Rose, has now begun her Forest School Leader training, so the children have weekly sessions in our nursery garden too! Rose's main interests are risky play, bushcraft, music, and botany, which are a big part of each session.
