Securing your child’s place

 

To secure your child's place at Edale Stepping Stones we require parents to sign a childcare contract and complete a number of essential permission slips.

We offer free induction sessions prior to your child's first day with us so that they can experience the environment and spend some time with us away from home. These sessions support your child in feeling safe and secure and recognising the Nursery as a special place for them to play away. We therefore ask that parents drop off their child off swiftly as this is a much less stressful 'goodbye' for your child and helps children to adjust much quicker (although we know it is a heartache!) 

Our focus is on each child's emotional well-being and our aim is to ensure a smooth transition for your child into nursery life.

We will have a conversation with you and your child before hand about your child’s interests, sleeping arrangements, likes and dislikes in terms of their eating and anything else you want to tell us, to ensure that we have detailed complete information about any allergies the may have.

 

No registration fees

​

There is no registration fee - we believe this to be an unnecessary expense, our aim is to keep your costs to an absolute minimum.
