Early Years Foundation Stage
Children start to learn about the world around them from the moment they are born. The care and education offered by Stepping Stones helps children to continue to do this by providing age-appropriate enriching opportunities and an environment in which they can thrive.
Children learn best when they are following their interests and fascinations. Staff support children to build on the learning they already have by providing activities and experiences to scaffold this development.

Each child's key person takes responsibility for the planning and observation in place to support each child's individual learning and development in line with the EYFS. Stepping Stones use the Tapestry online learning platform to document observations of each child which is shared on a daily basis with parents/carers.
